The re-fixture details for the postponed Football League games have been confirmed by the GAA.
Although some games managed to survive the horrific conditions endured by GAA players a fortnight ago, some matches just had to be postponed. The relentless nature of the seemingly never ending storms resulted in several pitches being deemed as unplayable, and five fixtures are rescheduled for this weekend.
This Saturday will see Westmeath host Longford in Cusack Park at 2pm, and Fermanagh entertain Laois in Enniskillen at 3:30pm.Division two clash between Galway and Offaly is set to take place on Sunday, as the Tribesmen aim to win their fourth consecutive game in a row.
Meanwhile, Cavan will travel to Sligo, and Tipperary will be away to Wexford at 2pm in the fourth tier on the Sunday. There is technically a break this weekend for the National Football League while the hurling takes place and it is this gap in the calendar that allows these games to be played.
