A man in his 40s has been arrested after a scuffle on the pitch following the Leinster club clash between Kilcormac-Killoughey and Ballyhale Shamrocks.
The fan, who was wearing a Kilcormac-Killoughey, appeared to punch a Ballyhale player in a brawl after the match.
Ballyhale won the provincial quarter-final 0-25 to 1-18.
Gardai have confirmed the man was charged and will appear at a later date in court.
Ballyhale Shamrocks boss Henry Shefflin condemned the scenes, saying: “It was unsavoury, we absolutely don’t condone it and I’m disappointed we were involved in such a situation because the match was over.
“I’m sure Kilcormac-Killoughey feel the exact same way.”
Kilcormac-Kilkloughey bainisteoir Declan Laffan said: "Whatever happens on the field, whether the players are going at it or whatever, leave them at it and it'll play itself out. Unfortunately, we can't control everybody.
"The one thing I'd say from Kilcormac-Killoughey's point of view, that's not them as a club and it's the same for Ballyhale.
"It's not a true representation of both clubs. Unfortunately, it just happened and we have to move on."
