Even a cheeky Kilkenny fan in the stands couldn’t prevent their loss to Wexford

Wexford are back in the Leinster hurling final for the first time in nine years after stunning last year's All-Ireland finalists Kilkenny on Saturday. With Davy Fitzgerald watching from a specially constructed box in the stands at Innovate Park, the Yellow Bellies got their noses in front early on and never looked back. Lee Chin was in imperious form and David Redmond's goal proved crucial as the Cats were beaten by three points. Kilkenny may be a shadow of their former selves but they certainly can't blame their vocal supporters that urged and roared them on through-out the semi final clash. One young fan overstepped the mark slightly, though, when Wexford's Diarmuid O'Keeffe was lining up a sideline cut. It looked, for all money, that the young pup attempt to hook O'Keeffe's hurl as he took his cut but was unsuccessful. https://twitter.com/MarkWall1/status/873621650905976832 Wexford were just too good on the day and will now seriously back themselves against any and every county in the land.
