Things got heated.

Weird nets, a poor looking pitch, 22 indistinguishable hurlers in the same helmets. That's the magic of Fenway. Oh, and yes, there was some scrapping, too. The Fenway Hurling classic has divided many opinions in its build-up this year. Most GAA people feel the money spent on organising the whole concept by the GAA could be a lot better used through investment into underage structures and in solving other problems closer to home. Anyway. It's going ahead, with Clare, Tipperary, Dublin and Galway contesting the showpiece this year. It's all panning out live on TG4 at the moment. We all remember the Fenway Hurling Classic in 2015 for that meaty row that took place between the Galway and Dublin players two years ago. The brawlers were eventually fined in the aftermath of their indiscretions. Well, it appears the counties don't grasp the concept of exhibition games that well, and the game wasn't 15 minutes old before they were going at it. Things got heated again on Sunday night with John Hetherton of Dublin stuck in the middle of it while Adrian Tuohy of Galway also involved. Within a few seconds, a host of more players joined the schmozzle. https://twitter.com/SportTG4/status/932307917956464640 There were some smashing goals scored after, like this one from Jason Flynn. https://twitter.com/SportTG4/status/932312505472315392 As it stands, Galway are leading by 55 to 39. The whole thing got people talking. https://twitter.com/WillieDunphy/status/932307927834202112 https://twitter.com/stevethedub/status/932305526389604352 https://twitter.com/KevinBarry15/status/932305186575519745 https://twitter.com/canalend/status/932305074050797568 https://twitter.com/bob_doheny/status/932304965124620290 https://twitter.com/Thesavatron/status/932304949593157633 h
