Dublin footballers responded to their lacklustre draw with Cork, last weekend, to comfortably see off Mayo in their Allianz NFL Division 1 tie tonight.
Denis Bastick scored a goal for the Dubs in the first half and was instrumental in helping Jim Gavin's side to a handsome half-time lead.
Dublin were 2-12 to 0-8 ahead, after 52 minutes, when Bastick showed superb commitment to prevent Mark Ronaldson from scoring a certain goal. In the end, Dublin won 2-18 to 0-10.
Fantastic effort.
