Davy Fitzgerald sent to the stands after blowing up on the sidelines

Wexford manager Davy Fitzgerald was dismissed to the stands by referee Johnny Murphy after blowing up at the fourth official over an off the ball challenge.
Fitzgerald was incensed when one of his players was knocked to the ground off the ball and he let the fourth official have it before Murphy came over and gave him his marching orders. https://twitter.com/TheSundayGame/status/1132679834599976960 His dismissal was inspired as Wexford went from trailing by six points to clawing the lead back and eventually leading by one point with some great scores from Rory O'Connor, Cathal Dunbar and Conor McDonald. Fitzgerald previosuly received an eight-week ban by GAA disciplinary chiefs following an on-field confrontation with Jason Forde during Wexford's Allianz Hurling League semi-final with Tipperary at Nowlan Park in 2017. Fitzgerald defended crossing the sideline and insisted that he did not go looking for a row with Forde.“I think you’ll see what I did out on the pitch was not to have a go at the Tipp players," he said last year."I wanted to make a point about the goal that had just gone in. I know I shouldn’t have gone onto the pitch but I didn’t go out to make a row and I didn’t want Jason Forde suspended.“I rang Michael Ryan the next day and told him anything he wanted me to do I would."
