Results from around the grounds on another huge club championship weekend

The era of the super-club is here with Ballygunner and Kilmacud Crokes both one game away making it three provincial crowns in a row.

Kilmacud Crokes survived something of a scare up in Ardee, where their mettle was severely tested by the Louth champions but Robbie Brennan's side pulled through. Meanwhile in Munster, Ballygunner survived a late rally to defeat Na Piarsaigh in the Gaelic Grounds. The Gunners will now advance to the Munster final where they'll take on Clare champions Clonlara, who got by the challenge of a 13 man Kiladangan but only by the skins of their teeth. Meanwhile, in Kerry, all eyes were on Austin Stack park where Fossa were in pursuit of a second county championship in a row. Fresh from winning Footballer of the Year on Friday night, David Clifford kicked 0-12 in that one, including six from play and a mark, but he missed a late free from the right hand corner to level the game. Fossa did have one last chance from an indirect free but Milltown/Castlemaine hung on to progress to the senior grade. St Brigid's will play Corofin in the Connacht SFC final having defeated Mohill while, in Leinster, Darragh Kirwan was simply untouchable, kicking 1-6 from play for Naas to defeat St Loman's.
