An ugly brawl broke out between Ballyholland and Downpatrick in Division 1 of the Down GAA All County Football League on Sunday.
Downpatrick won the match 1-11 to 1-8 but the game was marred by scenes of violence that saw players from both sides leave the pitch to fight near the car park with supporters and onlookers also appearing to be involved.

A woman heard in the background of the video could be heard saying that this was not the first time that these two teams had fought.
SportsJOE contacted Ballyholland for comment but a spokesperson from the club declined to comment on the incident. Downpatrick were also contacted for comment but could not be reached at this time.
The brawl follows a string of similar incidents with Slaughtneil and Ballinderry Shamrocks clashing in a Derry reserve Gaelic football Championship earlier this week while an intermediate first-round tie between Strabane and Stewartstown of Tyrone was also marred by violence last month.
