Ballyholland and Downpatrick brawl spills into car park

An ugly brawl broke out between Ballyholland and Downpatrick in Division 1 of the Down GAA All County Football League on Sunday.

SportsJOE contacted Ballyholland for comment but a spokesperson from the club declined to comment on the incident. Downpatrick were also contacted for comment but could not be reached at this time. The brawl follows a string of similar incidents with Slaughtneil and Ballinderry Shamrocks clashing in a Derry reserve Gaelic football Championship earlier this week while an intermediate first-round tie between Strabane and Stewartstown of Tyrone was also marred by violence last month.
