GAA club pay tribute to lifelong member who died in Berkeley balcony tragedy

Ballyboden St Enda's have paid tribute to their former club member Eoghan Culligan.

The 21 year old was one of the six Irish students who died in a tragic balcony collapse in Berkeley, California yesterday morning. Culligan played for the Dublin club since childhood, and was part of their Gaelic football side who who lost in the Dublin minor football championship final in 2011 to Castleknock. Ballyboden posted the tribute to their Facebook page, saying Eoghan "was very popular with his team mates and this tragic news is keenly felt by all members of our Club, but especially by those players and mentors who knew him well."
