The draws for the All-Ireland senior football championship and the Tailteann Cup took place at 3.00 on Tuesday afternoon.
Uachtarán Cumann Luthchleas Gael Jarlath Burns made the draw alongside director of games administration Feargal McGill, in a broadcast that was shown live on the social media channels of GAA.ie. The first group is an absolute belter, as you will see below.
Group 1: Winners of Galway-Mayo, losers of Donegal-Armagh, Derry, Westmeath.
Group 2: Winners of Dublin-Louth, losers of Galway-Mayo, Roscommon, Cavan.
Group 3: Winners of Donegal-Armagh, losers of Kerry-Clare, Tyrone, Cork.
Group 4: Winners of Kerry-Clare, losers of Louth-Dublin, Monaghan, Meath.
The first place finisher in each group of four will qualify directly to the All-Ireland quarter-finals.
Second and third-placed sides face off in preliminary quarter-finals - importantly, those that finish second in their groups will have home advantage in these games.
Group 1: Kildare, Leitrim, Longford, Waterford
Group 2: Sligo, Antrim, Wexford, Tipperary
Group 3: Fermanagh, Laois, Wicklow, Carlow
Group 4: Down, Offaly, Limerick, London.
In the Tailteann Cup, The group winners will advance to the quarters with the group runners-up and 3 out of 4 group third placed teams advancing to the preliminary quarter-finals.

The Tailteann Cup begins on the weekend May 11/12 while the All-Ireland round-robin series kicks off the following weekend, on May 18/19.
