The draws were made last Tuesday by Uachtarán Cumann Luthchleas Gael Jarlath Burns alongside director of games administration Feargal McGill.
On the back of their disappointing Ulster final loss to Donegal, Armagh now enter the group of death with Galway, Derry and Westmeath.
Group two will also be competitive with Dublin, Mayo, Roscommon and Cavan facing off.
The first place finisher in each group of four will qualify directly to the All-Ireland quarter-finals.
Second and third-placed sides face off in preliminary quarter-finals – importantly, those that finish second in their groups will have home advantage in these games.
Group 1: Galway, Armagh, Derry, Westmeath.
Group 2: Dublin, Mayo, Roscommon, Cavan.

Group 3: Donegal, Clare, Tyrone, Cork.
Group 4: Kerry, Louth, Monaghan, Meath.
