Remember that time Aidan O'Shea was criticised for taking selfies?

The word going around was that he didn't do the cool down with his teammates and instead posed for selfies with fans. What actually had happened is that the Breaffy man had already done his cool down and was just being a nice guy taking photos with fans. The Mayo lads are good for that, they've come out in the past saying how important it is to get photos with the younger fans because when they were younger the players did the same. But it doesn't stop at just the GAA, at least not for Aidan O'Shea. It also extends to the basketball court. O'Shea was playing for Ej Sligo as they got knocked out by the Portlaoise Panthers and the victors couldn't help but have a bit of fun on Twitter throughout the game. https://twitter.com/plaoisepanthers/status/921825727560986624 But even in the aftermath of the 70-64 defeat, the 2017 All-Star nominee was sticking around for photos with fans because that's what he does. https://twitter.com/plaoisepanthers/status/921829487591018497 And it didn't go unnoticed. https://twitter.com/fiona_king51/status/921915590960472064 The full list of the weekend's results are as followed: Hula Hoops Men’s Pat Duffy National Cup: Griffith College Swords Thunder 70-75 DCU Saints Black Amber Templeogue 90-81 Belfast Star KUBS 47-101 UCC Demons Moycullen 79-71 Maree Basketball Ireland Men’s Super League UCD Marian 66-91 Pyrobel Killester Basketball Ireland Women’s Super League: NUIG Mystics 70-76 Ambassador UCC Glanmire Pyrobel Killester 78-64 Portlaoise Panthers Courtyard Liffey Celtics 66-65 Singleton SuperValu Brunell DCU Mercy 74-69 IT Carlow Basketball Hula Hoops Men’s Presidents Cup LYIT Donegal 82-84 Keane’s SuperValu Killorglin IT Carlow Basketball 83-89 Neptune Ballincollig 20-0 Dublin Lions Fr Mathews 99-76 LIT Celtics Paris Texas Kilkenny 77-75 Ulster University Elks Portlaoise Panthers 70-64 Ej Sligo All Stars Basketball Ireland Women’s Division 1: Marble City Hawks 55-53 Meteors Fabplus North West 52-74 Fr Mathews Ulster University Elks 72-78 Griffith College Swords Thunder
