Where does Patrick Curran get off?
The 20-year-old from Dungarvan is in outrageous form for the Déise in their All-Ireland U21 Final. Waterford were a goal up after less than a minute as DJ Foran powered through the Galway defence and bulleted home. Curran then got in on the goal-scoring action before this frankly ridiculous flicked pass set up Stephen Bennett to belt home Waterford's third. Vincent Doyle looked to have him covered.
Curran had other ideas. His hand-pass was superb.
A joy to behold.
Waterford were immense in the first half and led 3-10 to 0-6 at the break.
Curran is already part of Waterford's senior panel but looks unstoppable at this level.
