You'd need more than a brush to clear this out.

We've seen some bad rain before and we've seen many a pitch struggle to hold it. But the downpour in Kerry must have reached biblical proportions on Friday when one GAA pitch wasn't just covered in water - it was covered about 200 times over. Templenoe GAA club, home of Pat Spillane, posted a picture of their field in Dromore today and it's fair to say that it has brought a whole new meaning to the word 'waterlogged'. Thankfully, this is the club's second pitch near the river Blackwater, but it's going to take some doing to clear this up. Studs or mouldies today?
