A former All-Ireland-winning Kerry manager has a new role with the county

Jack O'Connor is getting a new job.
He is already one of the most successful inter-county managers ever, winning three All-Ireland titles with his native Kerry across two spells in charge. After stepping away from the role as senior boss in 2012, O'Connor subsequently managed the Kerry minors and guided them to their first All-Ireland title at that grade in 20 years last season.
Now he will try to bring similar success to the U21 team, after being appointed as Darragh O'Se's successor for the next 2 seasons. O'Connor will continue to manage the minors for the remainder of this campaign, and the team are currently preparing for a Munster final with Tipperary on May 5.
O'Connor already won an All-Ireland U21 title with Kerry back in 1998 but the Kingdom haven't had much success since, only winning one Munster title at the grade since 2002.
