West Ham are looking to ban around 200 fans following the ugly scenes that marred their EFL Cup meeting with Chelsea at the London Stadium on Wednesday night.
The club are currently examining CCTV footage from the match in an attempt to identify supporters involved in the trouble, which saw missiles such as coins and ripped-up seats thrown across a segregated area between home supporters and the Chelsea fans. Fans later rushed over the segregated area to bait rival supporters until police in riot gear managed to disperse the trouble.
