Jonathan Pearce had only just composed himself after Wes Hoolahan's goal against Sweden.
The BBC commentator is prone to excitement, and his style is very much an acquired taste, but it's difficult to argue that he didn't capture the moment when Hoolahan's shot hit the net perfectly.

Pearce was on Ireland commentary duty once more on Wednesday night in Lille, and again managed to channel the excitement felt by every Ireland fan in his own bombastic way.
Hoolahan floated a perfectly weighted cross into the penalty area, eluding Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci, and landing right in the path of Brady who had made a darting run from midfield. The 24-year-old nodded the ball home, sending Ireland into the last 16 and securing his place in Irish sporting history.
He also caused Pearce to lose his mind... again.
