Kolo Toure fronted up after his horror show for Celtic on Wednesday night.
The veteran defender was at fault for both of Borussia Monchengladbach's goals in Celtic's 2-0 defeat at Parkhead. The German side were worthy winners on the night, but there's no doubting that they helped by Toure's errors.
The former Arsenal and Liverpool defender lost the ball in possession to Andre Hahn, which led to Lars Stindl scoring the opening goal in the 57th minute. 20 minutes later, Toure lost the ball again and Hahn scored, putting the game beyond doubt and leaving Celtic bottom of the group with just one point.
Following the game, the 35-year-old didn't hide from his critics. Whereas a lot of players would have tried to escape the ground without facing the media, putting their headphones on as they hastily made their way through the mixed zone, Kolo spoke to both ITV and BT Sport.
The defender said: "I'm 35 making a 16-year-old's mistake," and made no excuses for his errors in the game.
