Adam Lallana's comeback from his latest injury ended with a red card.
The England midfielder, who had missed the last couple of games with what Jurgen Klopp described as a "little muscle tear", was given a start for Liverpool's Under 23s in their game against Tottenham on Monday night.
Unfortunately for him, it didn't last too long. After going down after contesting a header with one of the Spurs youngsters, Lallana reacted angrily, pursuing the player and grabbing him round the neck.
The incident happened right in front of the referee, leaving him with little option but to send him off.
