How could they get it so wrong?

Aaron Ramsey may have had something of an indifferent season at Arsenal during the 2015/16 campaign, but as far as Wales are concerned, he has peaked at the perfect time. Along with Gareth Bale, the midfielder has been his country's star performer in France, with his sensational goal-scoring (and making) feats. When you combine his attacking prowess with a tireless work ethic and dutiful defensive duties, it's easy to see why the Dragons' supporters rate him as one of the group stages' stand-out performers. It's a view seemingly shared by Dutch legend Ruud Gullit, who picked him in his #EUROfantasy team. That's all well and good, but Uefa themselves seem a little confused as to Ramsey's nationality. They included the Arsenal man in a graphic to accompany their tweet, but committed the cardinal sin of assuming the proud Welshman was in fact...English. In fact he's the only 'English' (or Welsh) player in the entire starting team, and his inclusion was brazenly accompanied with a Three Lions' white jersey. As you can imagine, it was an embarrassing error that didn't gone down too well by his actual countrymen... https://twitter.com/dai_r1927/status/746358265341149184 https://twitter.com/leematthews10/status/746366345634283520 https://twitter.com/Will_Bish/status/746362591228928000 https://twitter.com/simonrug/status/746363764681883648 https://twitter.com/JKPaterson/status/746365241735393280 https://twitter.com/justsimplyhales/status/746362668148211712 SNAPCHAT
