After being at Manchester United since the time of Genghis Khan, it must have been a funny old feeling for Ryan Giggs to watch Friday night's match from Old Trafford.
Having worked under Louis van Gaal as United's assistant for two years, Giggs announced in the summer that he would leave the club following the appointment of Jose Mourinho.
While the 42-year-old has admitted he intends to move into football management when the ideal opportunity presents itself, for now, he seems quite content to try his hand at football punditry.
After working with ITV during the European Championships, Giggs was part of Sky's coverage of United's first home game of the season against Southampton.
Although he impressed in his new role, his Sky debut will probably be remembered largely for the fact that he described the season as a "war of nutrition". As much as we'd love to say this was just a one off and a mere slip of the tongue, it wasn't. As highlighted by the video below, it happened *twice*.

United made a winning start to life without Giggs at Old Trafford, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic's double enough to see off Southampton, 2-0.
