While we were all salivating over Charlie Adam's 60,000 yard goal against Chelsea on Saturday, Waterford United's Brian Nolan must have been sitting on the couch thinking, "Will they ever stick my bloody goal on YouTube?"
The Blues drew 2-2 with Shelbourne on Friday night in the First Division, and they found themselves 2-0 up on the Dublin side when Nolan scored this screamer.
With Shelbourne about to launch a counter attack, Nolan stepped in to dispossess one of their players, just inside the half, and within a split second, noticed that their keeper was still out on the edge of his area.
His floated shot from all of 40 or so yards was placed to absolute perfection, and while it was a bit closer in the Adam's shot from three miles away, the awareness shown by Nolan is superb.
