Cork City is so much more than just another football team on this earth.
Cork City is a home. It's a love. It's an entire way of life.
The club was on its knees only half a decade ago.
Previous owners had run up a debt that had threatened its very existence and it took FORAS Supporters Trust's intervention to rescue Cork City Football Club from extinction.
In 2010, the Rebel Army rose.
Fans took control of the club, they got it back on the straight and narrow, they took the hit and went to Division One of the League of Ireland.
They faced the financial troubles head on, they travelled to remote parts of the country, tiny grounds as the building started again from scratch.
Four years later, they were playing off in the last game of the season competing for the premier title.
Now, they're in Iceland. They're in Europe. And they're very much back amongst the heart of the people.
City take on KR Reykjavik in their second leg Europa qualifier encounter this evening but, come what may, the fans will return from Iceland safe in the knowledge that their empire, their home, is still standing.
And they'll continue their rise.
This brilliant Copa90 documentary shows the real emotions and difficulties the fans faced in rescuing Cork City and how the club in the south of Ireland went from history to history makers in unprecedented time.
