And this wasn't the only special moment in store for them. As Real Madrid faced Granada in their La Liga clash that ended 1-0 to hosts, the family were in attendance at the Bernabeu.
Before the game, Zied, pictured in tears following the incident in Hungary only a fortnight ago, was a vision of happiness as he walked on to the pitch hand in hand with Cristiano Ronaldo.
