Martin Skrtel's stunning strike against Man City on Saturday was an unexpected as it was spectacular.

It was the icing on the cake for Liverpool, on the way to a famous 4-1 victory away from home to the Premier League favourites. One intrepid reds fan was so desperate to watch the game that he blagged himself a ticket sitting with the home fans. That's all fine and dandy as long as you don't give yourself away. After sitting on his hands and keeping his grin concealed for 81 minutes, ali_akam couldn't stop himself when Skrtel powered home past a flailing Joe Hart. As you can see from Instagram video, Ali yells 'SKRTEL!!' in ecstacy, before shutting up sharpish. His comment says it all: 'Despite being in the city stand, couldn't contain my excitement for this one :/ #angrycityfans #skrtel #ynwa'
