Aston Villa secured promotion to the Premier League on Monday, beating Derby County 2-1 in the playoff final at Wembley. Goals from Anwar El Ghazi and the Scottish Iniesta, John McGinn, were enough to send Villa back to the promised land after three seasons in the Championship.
A big part of their promotion push came from Tyrone Mings, who joined in January on loan from Bournemouth. His defensive partnership with Manchester United loanee Axel Tuanzebe helped give Villa the platform to climb the league table despite lurking in the lower half of mid-table at the halfway point this season.
Mings has become a cult hero among the Villa faithful, and his most recent antics will only endear him more to the fans.
The centre-back returned to Bournemouth on Tuesday, still wearing his full Aston Villa kit, because he's a fucking legend.
A photograph emerged on Twitter of the defender at Bournemouth train station, still wearing his medal around his neck, Balenciaga man bag around his chest, on the phone.

I believe this is what the youth call a 'big mood'.
Villa fans will be hoping they can keep hold of Mings - and Tuanzebe for that matter - this summer as they look to strengthen their squad. This sort of thing suggests Mings would be open to the idea. Just Eddie Howe and co. left to convince then for Dean Smith.
