The United captain, playing on the right side of a midfield three, performed poorly in the 3-1 defeat to Watford, drawing plenty of criticism from the club's supporters in the process. While many of the club's fans believe it's high time that Rooney was withdrawn from the United starting XI for a run of games, few pundits appear to agree.
