Aguero was forced to retire from football because of the same issue

Sergio Aguero suffered a heart arrhythmia during a live Twitch stream on Wednesday night. The former Manchester City forward was forced to retire from football in December, 2021 after having a heart scare for Barcelona while playing jus two months beforehand. He was forced to come off after complaining of chest discomfort during a fixture against Alaves before being diagnosed with heart arrhythmia. As a result, Aguero was fitted with a pacemaker and confirmed his immediate retirement from football during an emotional press conference. Since his retirement the Argentine has regularly streamed on Twitch but those watching on Wednesday witnessed a brief scare as the 34-year-old paused before putting his hand on his chest.
