Ryan Giggs ‘forgets’ to mention David Moyes in his statement

Ryan Giggs is no longer Manchester United's Ryan Giggs.

After weeks of speculation, the Welshman confirmed what most of us suspected and announced that he has decided to leave the club after nearly three decades in a lengthy statement. In that statement, Giggs made a point of congratulating Jose Mourinho on being appointed as the club's new manager, and thanked almost everyone that had been a part of his 29 years at the club. *Almost* everyone... Having acknowledged the contribution made by Sir Alex Ferguson to his career, Giggs also thanked Louis van Gaal - alongside whom he worked as assistant manager for the last two seasons.
