Richie Towell will have a Manchester United teammate if he signs for Brighton

Richie Towell and James Wilson, together at last (almost).

Brighton is the most likely destination for Dundalk star Towell and, presuming he signs on the dotted line, he'll have a big-name teammate up front as Manchester United forward Wilson has signed with Chris Hughton's side on loan until the end of the season. Despite United's lack of goals, Louis van Gaal has allowed Wilson to leave Old Trafford until May. Towell is expected to join Brighton before the weekend after being linked to several clubs and the Seagulls manager Hughton has claimed that he identified the PFAI Player of the Year as a potential target. Brighton are currently placed second in the Championship table and with players like Wilson already signed and Towell likely following suit, they'll be strong contenders for automatic promotion to the Premier League this season.
