Oh dear.

Saturday was most definitely a day to forget for Rangers fans. Not only were they embarrassed by one dickhead who seemed to think it was okay to do a monkey gesture to Scott Sinclair, but their team were well and truly drubbed in the final Old Firm clash of the season by sworn enemies Celtic. The 5-1 defeat was historic for all the wrong reasons for the home side. Celtic claimed their biggest ever win at Ibrox, as Sinclair (7' minutes pen), Leigh Griffiths (18' minutes),Callum McGregor (52' minutes), Dedryck Boyata (66' minutes) and Mikael Lustig (87' minutes) all piled on the misery. But many people think the lowest point was actually after Rangers scored a consolation. Kenny Miller slotted home with nine minutes (and a final Celtic goal) to go, following a neat one-two with substitute Joe Garner. His reaction was to rush to retrieve the ball out of the net, and run back to the half-way line. He hardly celebrated and scarcely expressed much joy - that's because he knew it was neither the time nor the place. Sadly, the stadium powers-that-be weren't quite as attuned to the prevailing mood or context. How did they greet the largely pointless goal amidst a woeful thrashing? By playing fucking goal music. At a humiliating Old Firm game. Few could believe their eyes or ears... https://twitter.com/pcpritchard/status/858301201145843712 https://twitter.com/NUFCThreatLevel/status/858299978799861760 https://twitter.com/jonnydmcdonald/status/858300015126732800 https://twitter.com/ConorJKeenan/status/858299888886579208 https://twitter.com/jjwhaling/status/858300029227991041 https://twitter.com/ReeceAVFC_/status/858300355993632768
