Raheem Sterling pays for 550 tickets for pupils at his school

Manchester City and England winger Raheem Sterling has reportedly paid for 55o pupils at his former school in London to attend the FA Cup semi-final between Manchester City and Brighton at Wembley on Saturday.

Sterling will be visited by students from the Ark Elvin Academy at Manchester City's training complex before arrangements are made for the teenagers to be transported to and from the match with admission for the game subsidised by the 24-year-old. https://twitter.com/MikeKeegan_DM/status/1113731421904961536 Manchester City returned to the top of the league with a 2-0 win over Cardiff City on Wednesday night and manager Pep Guardiola has said that City cannot afford to drop any points as they aim to defend their Premier League title.

"We have the feeling that if we drop points we will not be champions," Guardiola said ahead of his FA Cup semi-final clash with Brighton. "I don't know what condition we are going to arrive in (against Brighton) but against Cardiff we should have scored more goals definitely, that is a little bit of regret we have."
