Nike have shown their support for Raheem Sterling with the unveiling of an advert much like those used in their Colin Kaepernick ad campaign.
Sterling, a Nike athlete, posted a statement Instagram last weekend which may have reshaped sports journalism. He called out newspapers, citing two Daily Mail articles, for helping to "fuel racism and aggressive behaviour" with their unfair coverage of black players' private lives compared to white players' lives.
His statement came after he was abused by Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge during Manchester City's first loss of the season. Chelsea have since suspended four supporters.
Nike have now unveiled their advert starring Sterling, with the slogan "Speaking up doesn't always make life easier. But easy never changed anything."

This ad follows a commercial campaign starring the estranged NFL quarter-back, Colin Kaepernick, who pioneered the anti-racism protest movement within the sport by taking a knee during the American national anthem.
Nike stood by him in solidarity and are doing the same with Sterling, which is to be commended.
