Didier Deschamps' men were hugely unconvincing during the group stage, despite managing to top their group ahead of Denmark. Argentina were even worse during the group stages. Mbappe caused the South Americans more problems minutes later when he was picked out by a Paul Pogba pass, only to be brought down on the edge of the penalty area. Both Griezmann and Pogba stood over the resulting free-kick, before the Manchester United midfielder eventually stepped up to take it, sending a powerful shot comfortably over the Argentina goal. Cameras immediately cut to the crowd, more specifically the reaction of Pogba's two older twin brothers - Florentin and Matthias.
