Romelu Lukaku wasn't in the squad after an injury in the game against City and the likes of Gerard Deulofeu and Ross Barkley were benched for the game, presenting others with a chance to shine.
But despite a comfortable 2-0 win, the headlines weren't taken by any of Roberto Martinez's players.
Instead, a wandering cat was the talk of the terraces after wandering on to the Goodison turf.
