PIC: We can all calm down lads, shirtgate is over as Jermaine Beckford replaces stolen jersey

What a whirlwind five days.
Nothing has dominated our thoughts this week as much as the images of this woman snatching Jermaine Beckford's hat-trick shirt from this young Preston fan's grasp.
Many, not us of course, would call the lady an absolute thundering bitch who should never be allowed into a football stadium again. Not us, remember.
The internet went to town on the thief who deprived young Ted Dockray of a dream day out after he caught the shirt when Beckford was substituted off in Preston's play-off final victory over Swindon at the weekend.

But the furore can finally come to an end after Beckford did the admirable thing by tracking Ted and giving the youngster a signed shirt and a tour of Deepdale.
