Manchester City have gone to great trouble when considering what their new official crest will look like.

Having consulted fans on a number of occasions, the new design was due to be revealed on Boxing Day. However, the plans for the unveiling have been scuppered as a leaked image of the badge surfaced on line. As expected, the new badge looks very similar to the design that the club used prior to 1997.
