In case you missed it, Olivier Giroud scored a quite incredible goal against Crystal Palace this afternoon.

The Arsenal striker flicked the ball over his own head and into the goal without even breaking stride to give the Gunners the lead over Sam Allardyce's Palace side. Because of kill-joy Premier League rules we can't actually show you the goal, but this picture of him about to strike the ball shows just how ridiculous a goal it was. The goal comes just a few days after Henrikh Mkhitaryan also scored an incredible goal for Manchester United against Sunderland: Inevitably, comparisons have been drawn between the two... https://twitter.com/MattShields08/status/815595987028897792 But it's fair (and unsurprising) to say Arsenal fans reckon Giroud's effort was better - because it was not offside, as Mkhitaryan's was shown later to be. https://twitter.com/jarred1886/status/815596445789106176 https://twitter.com/steelMie/status/815595951905763332 https://twitter.com/samuelhoney1304/status/815595877331042304 https://twitter.com/thatdeepguy_/status/815595640403197953 https://twitter.com/AfroXGum1/status/815595642701676545 Even City fans were joining in: https://twitter.com/StefanAnderton/status/815595696422260736 Either way, they were enjoying it https://twitter.com/iam_TIL/status/815595888978575364 This probably sums it all up though: https://twitter.com/tom_mcghee/status/815595735278292997
