We wonder if Monaco will regret letting forward Lacina Traoré leave for CSKA Moscow on loan?

English fans may remember the Ivorian from his short-lived spell with Everton, where he scored on his debut but played just one more game due to injury. Traoré returned to the French Riviera in 2014 and even pitched in with a couple of goals in last season's Europa League, but the return from loan of Radamel Falcao made him surplus to requirements. Shortly after letting him move to Russia in July, Monaco learned that they would be up against their former charge in the Champions League. No bother, though.
