Newcastle United fought back from 3-1 down against Norwich City on Wednesday night to win a seven-goal thriller 4-3 in what was a quite sensational comeback. 93 seconds of utter madness saw the Magpies score two goals in stoppage time.
As you can imagine, the place erupted when Dwight Gayle completed his hat-trick five minutes into added time, with both the players and the fans going absolutely doolally with unbridled joy. It was the kind of thing people will talk about for years.
That said, Gayle would be forgiven for wishing he'd not bothered when it came to the celebrations at the corner flag. Whilst a throng of players ran to the fans to share in the moment, Aleksandar Mitrovic made a beeline for the goalscoring hero.
Pulling him back by the collar, Mitrovic lovingly and viciously snapped back Gayle's spine whilst grabbing his teammate in a tight sleeper hold. He then threw him to the floor and smiled. It was like something straight out of WWE.
With teammates like that, who needs enemies?
