Fans stunned by Mason Mount’s stats on Man United debut

Mount got off to a winning start on his Man United debut.

Mason Mount made his competitive debut for Manchester United as they scraped past Wolves on Monday night. Raphael Varane scored the only goal of the game 14 minutes from time after Erik ten Hag’s side spent a large majority of the game under the cosh from the away side, who were being managed by Gary O’Neill for the first time after taking charge just four days before. Mount meanwhile also made his first appearance since his £60m move from Chelsea but had no major impact on the game before being subbed in the 69th minute.
