Irish football continues to rally around Mark Farren.
In little over a week Irish football fans have donated more than €40,000 towards the costs of Farren's cancer treatment, and it doesn't look like the fundraising is going to stop any time soon.
The Londonderry Sentinel report that both Martin and Michael O'Neill will be in the Brandywell dugouts on May 23rd, managing teams in a League of Ireland v Irish League game in aid of the fund.
It's thought that Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill contacted Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill about organising an event, and the duo decided to face off in a charity game .
There will also be some current and former International faces from both the Republic and Northern Ireland taking part, with James McClean, David Forde, Paddy McCourt, Niall McGinn and Stephen McLaughlin all taking part, having played with Farren during their times with the Candystripes.
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll has also committed to the game, which will be followed by a fundraising dinner at a Derry Hotel, and all money raised will go towards Farren's cancer treatment at an elite Mexican cancer centre.
