In recent months, people haven't been short of things to take the p*ss out of Manchester United for.

Disappointing results, bizarre sponsorship deals, the many excuses of Louis van Gaal... the anti-United brigade have been spoiled for choice. On Sunday, United were once again the subject of great amusement when it emerged that their bus had been caught up in London traffic - delaying kick-off first by fifteen minutes and then half an hour. Predictably, Twitter was merciless. https://twitter.com/theawayfans/status/719177487310319616 https://twitter.com/HearYanitedSing/status/719176861935386624 Some suggested there were similarities between the driver's route to the ground and the style of football played by United at times this season. https://twitter.com/liam11/status/719170355965902850 https://twitter.com/tomwfootball/status/719173340624261121 Others suggested it was a sign that Jose Mourinho was definitely on his way.  https://twitter.com/GarethBale22/status/719167079002279939 There were some that saw similarities between the delayed bus and one of United's recent midfield pairings https://twitter.com/nevilletime/status/719175263540637701 And for others, it was the perfect comparison to another underwhelming season https://twitter.com/RK_sports/status/719177631258677249 Thankfully, the bus arrived - meaning kick off would take place at 4.30pm. For some, this was still too soon. https://twitter.com/nicky_clarke/status/719172254148517888
