You've really got to feel for the folk looking after Man United's twitter account.
Such is the feeling of misery and anger amongst the Old Trafford faithful these days that every tweet is greeted with some level of resentment or snarkiness.
Good news is very much at a premium, and it seems even nostalgia doesn't work in brightening the spirits of their nearly 7 million followers. Quite the opposite in fact.
On Monday morning, following the weekend's pitiful 1-0 defeat at home to Southampton, the official account marked the two-year anniversary of signing the ever-popular Juan Mata from Chelsea.
