We're used to Man United being gazumped for big name players, but are they about to be out-manoeuvred in their attempts to attract a new manager?

Whilst Ed Woodward and the Old Trafford board continue to dawdle over whether or not to sack Louis van Gaal, the most obvious candidate to replace him could soon be in another job. A number of reports in Spain suggest that Real Madrid are very keen on wooing Jose Mourinho back to the Bernabeu to replace Rafa Benitez.
