Allegri will bring his Juventus side to Old Trafford in the next couple of weeks as the Italian champions hope to continue their 100% record in this season's Champions League. The report adds that he is committed to Juve and their aspirations of ending their 23-year wait for a European Cup.
Allegri took charge at Juventus following the departure of Antonio Conte in 2014. He's maintained their dominance of Serie A, also guiding them to the 2015 and 2017 Champions League finals.
Considering the squad he currently has at his disposal, it's difficult to imagine Allegri, whose contract expires in 20202, leaving Turin before the end of the season. Should he guide Juve to a long-awaited European crown this season, he may then just fancy accepting the challenge of restoring United to their former glories. Whether a new manager is required at Old Trafford before then is another matter.
