Manchester United confirm Zlatan Ibrahimovic is staying for another year – but not everyone’s happy

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Manchester United will trigger their option to keep Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a second season.

The Swede, 35, joined the club in the summer and has eight goals under his belt so far. United boss Mourinho confirmed the news at his press conference on Wednesday. "The Zlatan situation is simple, he has one year plus another year at the club, we are happy with him," he said. "We are going to execute the extra year option. In two years' time he will be free.
