Manchester United confirm Ander Herrera departure

Ander Herrera has bid farewell to his adoring Manchester United fans after five years with the club.

The writing has seemed to be on the wall for Herrera for several months, with recent reports stating that the midfielder had signed a pre-contract agreement with Paris Saint-Germain. While Herrera's destination has yet to be confirmed, United revealed the popular Spaniard's goodbye message to the Old Trafford faithful on Saturday morning. Herrera joined United in 2014 from Athletic Bilbao and was named Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year after a terrific showing in the 2016/17 season.
