Alas their biggest fears were realised against Wolves in the FA Cup far earlier than they would have anticipated - within a minute to be exact.
With many still finding their seats in 'Fortress Anfield', a Helder Costa free-kick found the head of Richard Stearman in the penalty area as he easily nodded home past Karius. It was terrible defending from a disjointed Liverpool defence.
