Liverpool are about to sign a player you’ve never heard of

Jurgen Klopp is a man of his word.

The Liverpool manager said he wouldn't be pursuing big-name players this summer, and days later he signs the captain of Estonia. Klavan, who has 108 caps for Estonia, is reportedly being bought as defensive cover, and will be used on the left-hand side of central defence. Klopp already has Dejan Lovren, Mamadou Sakho, Joel Matip, and Joe Gomez to play in central defence. However, Gomez and Sakho look set to miss the start of the new season with Achilles problems. Klavan appears to be filling the void left by Kolo Toure's departure, but we doubt he'll be as hilarious. The 30-year-old will reportedly sign a two year deal, with the option of another 12 months, and the deal should be completed within the next few days.
